Your privacy.

The Creative Marketing Agency builds brands and runs marketing for businesses. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it and what we do with it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

When you send an enquiry. Our contact form asks for your name, business name, email address, phone number (optional), the kind of help you are after and your message. We only receive what you choose to send.

When you browse the site. We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site. It uses cookies to record things like the pages you visit, how long you stay, the type of device and browser you use, roughly where you are (city or region) and the site that referred you. It does not give us your name or contact details.

Technical logs. Like every website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the time of each request, for security and to keep the site running.

How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and talk with you about your project.
  • To provide services if you become a client.
  • To understand which pages are useful and improve the site.
  • To keep the site secure.

We do not sell your information, and we will not add you to a mailing list without asking.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted providers to run the site and our business:

  • Hostinger, which hosts this website.
  • Microsoft 365, which delivers and stores our email, including enquiries from the contact form.
  • Google Analytics, which measures site visits.

Some of these providers store data outside Australia, including in the United States and Europe. We choose providers with strong security and privacy commitments. We will only share your information with anyone else if you agree or the law requires it.

Cookies and opting out

Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The site works the same either way.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to respond and to keep sensible business records. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months and then deleted automatically. When we no longer need personal information, we delete it or remove the details that identify you.

Keeping it safe

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. The site runs over a secure (https) connection, and access to our systems is limited to the people who need it.

Seeing or correcting your information

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. Get in touch through our contact page and we will respond within 30 days.

Questions or complaints

If you have a question or concern about how we have handled your information, please contact us through our contact page first so we can put it right. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
